Amercian sweet potatoes are not the same as Vietnamese sweet potatoes. The American sweet potatoes are moister. They're wet.
Vietnamese sweet potatoes are dry and a different kind of sweet.There are Vietnamese white ones with purple skin and purple in the middle too.
