Pangasius

In recent years, Pangasius products from Vietnam, especially frozen fillets, are getting more popular in the global seafood market thanks to the reality of nutrition facts and competitive prices. In comparison with other key processors of Pangasius products in Vietnam, Phu Cuong Group has initiated this business rather late but takes advantages in management of materials and processing facilities. Moreover, with a "closed process" including hatchery, feed production, breeding and processing, it's convenient to conduct the traceability procedure required by clients for the export of Pangasius products.

PCG 's owns 80 hectares of breeding ponds, located about 15km away from processing plants in Kien Giang. Materials are available round the year with a capacity in average of 30-40 tons/day mainly supplied to PCG's plants as well as other plants outside PCG, is well ensured a stable material supply to its processing system. In addition to an own feed mill nearby the ponds, with a capacity of 4,000kg/hour, PCG is developing a hatchery in the same cultivation area with a supply capacity of 400,000 baby Pangasius per month. In the peak production, PCG contracts with surrounding farmers for outsourcing Pangasius materials with the total volume of 200 tons/day.

PCG possesses a well-trained and experienced work force comprising capable management teams and skillful workers. The products processed from Pangasius are therefore diversified and able to satisfy mostly the most difficult demands for high value-added items from various clients.
